Sep 01 2005 Exchange-Traded Funds Attracting Short Sellers Ian McDonald of The Wall Street Journal reports that, "Scads of traders, hedge funds and other professional money managers are using exchange-traded mutual funds, or ETFs, to bet on a plunge by swaths of the stock or bond markets, or just slivers of one or the other," in this article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
